Vidarbha, Washim, Risod: In a shocking incident, 15 goats died after consuming water contaminated with toxic pesticides from a farm. A local shepherd was tending to his goats when some of them drank from the farm's water tank.

The water in the tank contained pesticides that had been sprayed on crops. Soon after drinking the contaminated water, the goats showed symptoms of poisoning. Fifteen goats died on the spot, while several others are in critical condition.

Local authorities and veterinary officials were informed, and an investigation is underway. Veterinary experts are providing necessary treatment to the affected goats. The goat herder has suffered a loss of Rs 2.5 lakh. Villagers are demanding compensation for the losses and strict safety measures for pesticide storage.
