21-Year-Old Held for Robbing Man of Gold Chain and Bracelet Worth ₹2.35 Lakh

A 21-year-old youth was arrested for robbing a 55-year-old man of a gold chain and bracelet worth ₹2.35 lakh in Nagpur’s Lakadganj area. Police have registered a case under BNS Section 309(4).

Nagpur, India: A 21-year-old youth has been arrested for robbing a senior citizen of a gold chain and bracelet worth ₹2.35 lakh in the Lakadganj area.

The accused, Adesh Pradeep Samudre, a resident of Thakkargram in Pachpaoli, allegedly robbed Umesh Mahadev Kapse (55), a resident of Vishram Nagar, Nari, while he was on his way from Old Motor Stand to Marwadi Chowk on his two-wheeler.

According to the police, Samudre approached Kapse mid-route, threatened to harm him, and forcibly snatched his gold bracelet and chain before fleeing.

The incident was reported to Lakadganj Police, who promptly registered a case under Section 309(4) of the Bharatiya Nyay Sanhita (BNS) and arrested the accused. Further investigation is currently in progress.
