A 21-year-old student was sexually assaulted at a salon in Pratap Nagar, Nagpur. Police arrested the accused and launched an investigation.

Nagpur, India: A 21-year-old woman was sexually assaulted at the Four Seasons Family Salon in Swavalambi Nagar, under the Pratap Nagar police station area. The police have arrested Dhanendra Kashiram Sarate (50), a co-owner of the salon and a resident of Ahilya Nagar.
According to the police, the victim, a student, was a regular customer at the salon. On Monday evening, she visited for a hair wash. At that time, Dhanendra was alone in the salon. He suggested she wash her face before the hair treatment, and she agreed.
While applying cream to her face, he forced it onto her eyes even though she refused. He then sexually assaulted her. The woman fought back and immediately went to the police station to file a complaint.
The police have registered a case and arrested Dhanendra. Further investigation is ongoing.
