Nagpur, India: A 65 Year Old woman drowned in Ambazari Lake. The police have classified it as an accidental death and are investigating the incident.

The woman who drowned was Shashikala Devidas Soyam from Kushi Nagar, Jaripatka. She was reportedly feeling depressed due to family issues with her sons.

The incident happened around 3:30 pm. Soyam went into the lake, and people nearby saw her and called the police. Ambazari Police arrived quickly and recovered her body. They found her Aadhaar card and phone on the land near the lake. The police informed her sons and sent the body for a post-mortem.

The investigation revealed that Soyam had two sons one worked on contract at Lata Mangeshkar Hospital, and the other was employed at a beer bar. Police said she had a short temper and often had conflicts with her son's families. She lived alone in a rented house.

Two days before the incident, Soyam had a serious argument with her son's families. According to the police, her sons stated that this left her very upset and distressed.
