Nagpur, India- A four-year-old boy was killed and his mother sustained injuries in a hit-and-run accident near LOC Square on Monday night.
The young victim, Vivan Rupesh Amdare, resided at Plot No 54-B, Adrash Nagar, Dighori. Vivan was riding on the back of his mother Karishma Amdare's Honda Activa (registration number MH-40-BW-0522) around 8:40 pm. They were on their way back home from Gandhibagh when tragedy struck. A speeding four-wheeler collided with their vehicle, imposing severe injuries upon Vivan. He was immediately rushed to Shravan Hospital, but despite the efforts of medical staff, he tragically succumbed to his injuries.
Following the incident, Rupesh Suresh Amdare (35), the father of the deceased, provided a statement to the Nandanvan police. Subsequently, a case was registered under sections 279, 338, and 304 (A) of the Indian Penal Code, in addition to sections 134, 177, and 184.
As the authorities continue their investigation into this tragic event, the community mourns the loss of young Vivan and prays for the swift recovery of his injured mother.
