Akola, Washim, and Nagpur heat up to 40.2 DC, the hottest in Vidarbha

The Vidarbha region's scorching weather began to manifest itself early this year. On Thursday, Nagpur swelters at 40.2 degrees. While some areas are just hitting 40 degrees, Akola and Washim have surpassed 42 degrees.

Nagpur's measured temperature is 1.7 degrees higher than average. The region seems to have had an early summer heat wave, and temperatures are predicted to rise higher over the season. The Nagpur Municipal Corporation has already examined the measures taken to address sunstroke cases.

42.6 degrees, or 3.1 degrees over average, was reported at Akola. Moreover, Washim reported 42.6 degrees, 3.6 degrees higher than average. The two warmest districts in the area are Akola and Washim.
