Did you realize that some of the common workouts we all perform at the gym to maintain our health and fitness may be more detrimental than beneficial?
In an interview with Ranveer Allahbadia for The Ranveer Podcast, orthopedic physician Dr. Venkatesh Movva, who has training in sports medicine, discussed the exercises that one should avoid doing at the gym. You'll be surprised at the answers.
As an orthopedic physician, Ranveer asks Dr. Movva what exercises he would advise gym patrons to stay away from. He recommended three activities that are very well-liked by gym patrons who want to keep healthy, lose weight, or get in shape. He says that crunches, deadlifts, and overhead movements are bad.
Exercises to avoid- Military press, Crunches, Deadlifts.
Why avoid Deadlifts?
Do it if you have good muscle balance and are well-trained. However, that's something you might want to stay away from if you're attempting to recover due to the extremely high danger of harm.
