In a hit-and-run accident, a six-year-old girl was killed, and her mother was seriously injured after being hit by a speeding motorcyclist in the Wadi area. The girl, named Gargi Sachin Deulkar, lived in Mhasala, Kamptee Road, Koradi area. Her mother, Bhavana (35), is in the hospital with serious injuries.

Bhavana, her son Daksha (9), and Gargi were going to a relative’s house in Raghupati Nagar. Around 7:45 pm on Saturday, they got out of an autorickshaw near Bharat Apartment on Amravati Road, Wadi. While crossing the road, a biker hit them and then sped away. Bhavana and Gargi were badly hurt and taken to the hospital, where Gargi died from her injuries.

Following a complaint by Kunal Shyamraoji Deulkar (34), Gargi’s uncle, the police registered a case and are searching for the motorcyclist. They are checking CCTV footage to find him.
