Auto-Rickshaw Driver Killed by Speeding Truck Near Dongargaon
A speeding truck killed an auto-rickshaw driver near Dongargaon. The driver fled, and police are investigating the incident.

Nagpur, India: On Friday night, a speeding truck tragically killed an auto-rickshaw driver in an accident near Dongargaon on Wardha Road, under the Hingna Police Station's jurisdiction. The truck driver fled the scene to avoid arrest.
The victim, Mushtaq Ahmad Jabbar Shaikh, 45, was a resident of Plot No. 256, Ashirvad Nagar, Sakkardara. He was traveling to Butibori with his family to attend an engagement ceremony. The accident happened around 8:15 p.m. when Mushtaq parked his auto-rickshaw (MH-49/E-2886) near Rohit Hotel to buy an oil can from a nearby petrol pump.
As he crossed the road in the dark, Mushtaq stepped into a pothole near the divider and fell onto the other side of the road. A speeding truck struck him, causing severe injuries.
Mushtaq was taken to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), MIHAN, but he died on the way. After a complaint by Amjad Hassan Shaikh, his cousin, Hingna Police registered a case against the truck driver under Sections 106(1) and 281 of the Bharatiya Nyay Sanhita.
