Nagpur, India: Belatrodi Police have arrested a 60-year-old pan stall owner for carrying illegal weapons and live cartridges. The police had received a tip-off that a suspicious person was transporting live cartridges on a moped from Belatrodi to Shatabdi Chowk.

The police set up a trap near Mangaldeep Society, where they stopped the man on a moped. The arrested person was identified as Rajendra Sadashiv Mankar, who lives in Revati Nagar, Manish Nagar.

During the search, the police found three live cartridges in Mankar’s bag. They also seized three small knives, a closed iPhone, an Oppo mobile, and the moped. The total value of the items is ₹1,39,620.

Police are investigating where Mankar got the illegal weapons from and why he had them. A case has been filed against him, and the investigation is continuing.
