Besa has some serious infrastructure problems that are creating difficulties for its residents, and travellers. The local authorities have failed to provide services, causing frustration among the people. The main issue is at Besa Square, an important junction connecting Ghogali, Pipla, Manewada, and Manish Nagar. Instead of being a busy centre, it has become a problem area due to heavy traffic and poor street lighting with improper road development.

Efforts by the Besa Nagar Panchayat to fix these issues have not been enough. An anti-encroachment drive around Besa Square, prompted by news reports, only brought partial improvements, hawkers are running their shops with tents even after the strict warnings. Loose gravel used to fill potholes without proper tarring has made the roads bumpy and hard to drive on, especially for women and elderly drivers. One resident noted that debris from the cleared areas and poorly fixed potholes make the roads dangerous, especially at night. Despite having almost 3 Nag River Brigdes on the Manewada-Besa-Ghogli Road, the construction is at a slow pace causing discomfort for residents.

The Besa-Pipla road faces similar neglect. Even after the Public Works Department spent a lot of money on filling potholes last year, the repairs did not last. The road is still narrow, full of potholes, and unable to handle heavy truck traffic. Poor street lighting makes it unsafe for pedestrians at night. Residents are urging the authorities to take quick action to fix the roads and improve street lighting.

Residents of Yash Housing Society and Crown Society on Besa-Pipla Road are having major problems because their roads have not been built properly. While other areas have cement roads, these societies do not. They are asking the Nagar Panchayat to construct a proper road. If a cement road is not possible, they request a tar road for daily use. They point out that the temporary road becomes unusable during the rainy season.
