Vidarbha, Gadchiroli, India: Bhagyawan Khobragade, president of the Kisanrao Khobragade Education Society, was recently recognized with the ‘Zilla Gaurav Puraskar’ for 2023-24. The award was presented by the District Central Co-operative Bank (DCCB) during a ceremony at Swagat Mangal Karyalaya, Armori.

Senior cooperative leader Arvind Savkar Poreddiwar, renowned drama artist Parashuram Khune, Gadchiroli Urban Co-operative Bank president Prakash Savkar Poreddiwar, Armori MLA Krishna Gajbe, Motilal Kukreja, Armori APMC chairman Ishwar Pasewar, and deputy chairman Venkati Nagilwar attended as honoured guests.

Notable attendees, including Bhagyalakshmi Khobragade, former municipal chief Pawan Naranvare, Vice President Haider Panjwani, Bharat Bawanthade, and Gadchiroli APMC chairman Shashikant Salve, were also present at the event.

In response to the felicitation, Khobragade expressed that it was a great honour for him to receive such an award. He stated that the award did not belong to him alone but to the people of Armori, and for that reason, he was dedicating it to the public.
