Nagpur, India: Panic struck Hotel Dwarkamai in Ganeshpeth after the hotel manager received an email warning about a bomb planted in the building. The email claimed the bomb would explode at 9:30 am.

Hotel owner U Mulchandani quickly contacted the Ganeshpeth Police, who arrived with the Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad (BDDS), fire brigade, and other officials. The area was evacuated, and a three-hour search of the hotel was conducted.

No bomb or suspicious items were found. Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Rahul Maknikar and ACP Anita More, who oversaw the investigation, confirmed it was a false alarm and there was no threat.

The situation caused panic among guests, hotel staff, and nearby residents, with a large crowd gathering during the search.

The police have registered a case and are investigating the origin of the email and the motives behind the threat. They are also looking into whether the threat is connected to similar incidents at Delhi schools.
