Nagpur, India: A theft of cash and jewellery worth ₹5.27 lakh was reported in Lakadganj. A thief stole ₹2.10 lakh in cash and gold jewellery worth ₹3.17 lakh from a bedroom locker.

The victim, Hosayan Jaswinder Singh Gill (26), lives at Siddhivinayak Home Apartment near Mokhare Palace, Lakadganj. He had locked his valuables in a cupboard on February 10 at 1:30 pm and kept the key with him.

When he opened the locker on February 14 at 8:00 pm, he found the cash and jewellery missing. Shocked, he immediately informed the Lakadganj police, who had registered a case and started an investigation.
