World Mental Health Day is an international campaign to combat the stigma associated with mental illness, advance mental health education, and increase public awareness of mental health issues.
It is a World Health Organization (WHO) initiative that emphasizes the value of mental health for people individually, in communities, and the workplace. The day provides a forum for organizations and activists for mental health to share their work and consider what more needs to be done to guarantee that mental health services are available to everyone worldwide.
Tips to improve your Mental Health-
1. Connect to nature- Everybody has concerns and fears, doubts, heartbreaking losses, and stressful demands in their lives. We can find a great sense of calmness in nature.
2. Sleep schedule- Adults require seven to nine hours of sleep per night, including adequate time for dreaming and deep sleep. If you're having trouble falling asleep, consider making a few easy adjustments.
3. Physical activity- Because there is a connection between our bodies and thoughts, taking care of our physical health also helps us avoid mental health issues.
4. Eating habits- Good or poor, food and drink have an impact on our bodies, minds, and emotions. We may get an enticing momentary "high" or feeling of comfort from sugary snacks and beverages. However, they quickly leave us restless or uneasy.
5. Spread kindness- If you have ever experienced loneliness, you understand the importance of even a tiny relationship with another person. Grinning at each other or saying hello can make us feel better and provide comfort.
