Nagpur, India: Celebrity Chef Vishnu Manohar is gearing up to break 2 world records with an epic 24-hour dosa marathon. Starting at 8 a.m. on October 27 at Girish Gandhi Khule Rang Manch, Vishnuji ki Rasoi in Bajaj Nagar, he’ll attempt to make dosas non-stop for a full day and create the maximum number of dosas within that timeframe.
Vishnu Manohar will use three bhattas, each with 8 tavas, to prepare 24 dosas simultaneously, aiming to reach a target of 6,000 dosas by 8 a.m. on October 28. Visitors can savour these dosas with a massive 1,000 kg of chutney, all served free of charge on a first-come, first-served basis throughout the day and night.
The event offers a full 24 hours of continuous entertainment, featuring Hindi and Marathi songs, ghazals, bhajans, monologues, and stand-up comedy. The celebration will conclude with a special ‘Diwali Pahat’ program, and dosas will be donated to orphanages, special schools, and old age homes to share the festive spirit.
