Cold Winds Lower Humidity, Drop Temperatures in Nagpur
Cold northerly winds have lowered humidity and caused a dip in day and night temperatures across Nagpur and Vidarbha.

Nagpur and surrounding areas have been experiencing cold northerly winds for the past two days, leading to a noticeable drop in humidity and temperatures. On Friday, the city recorded a 0.4-degree Celsius dip in the day temperature, settling at 30.4°C, while the night temperature dropped significantly by 2.2 degrees Celsius to 17.4°C.
Meteorological Predictions
The Regional Meteorological Centre (RMC) reported that cold winds from the north have sharply reduced humidity levels, with Nagpur recording 39% relative humidity in the morning and 37% in the evening. The cold spell is expected to last for two more days, after which temperatures are predicted to rise from February 10.
Temperature Trends in Vidarbha
Across Vidarbha, most regions saw a slight fall in night temperatures. Brahmapuri recorded the lowest night temperature at 15.4°C, experiencing a sharp drop of 3.4 degrees Celsius.
