Couple in Nagpur Ends Lives Over Financial Strain, Daughter Poisoned
Couple dies fighting with financial condition, after poisoning daughter. Police investigating the case.

A couple died, and their daughter is fighting for her life at Mayo Hospital after consuming poison on Nara Road under Jaripatka Police Station on Thursday night.
Police sources identified the couple as Rijju Vijayan alias Vijay Rajan (40), his wife Priya (34), and their daughter Vaishnavi (11). The family, originally from Kerala, had moved to Nagpur for Priya's cancer treatment.
The Rajan couple faced severe financial stress due to the cancer treatment, which seemingly led them to take their lives. On Thursday night, the couple allegedly poisoned their daughter and then ingested the same poison to commit suicide.
Their daughter survived and is currently in critical condition.
Jaripatka Police have registered a case of accidental death and are investigating the matter further.
