Dhantoli Police Nab 7 for Major Robbery, Seize Stolen Goods Worth ₹7 Lakh

Nagpur, India: Dhantoli Police have successfully apprehended seven individuals involved in a high-profile robbery and seized stolen goods valued at ₹7 lakh. The case stems from an incident on August 26, 2024, when Kishore Bhande, 37, of Buldhana, was instructed to collect a significant sum from Gopi Joshi's office in Nagpur by his acquaintance, Shubham Saklikar.
Bhande, accompanied by his friend Amol Kakade, collected ₹11,90,000 in cash and was en route back to Buldhana. However, as they arrived at Baba Travels on Wardha Road, Nagpur, around 7:00 PM, two men on a Pulsar motorcycle approached them. The suspects demanded Bhande open his car window, and upon compliance, threatened him with a knife, stole his bag, and fled.
Following the complaint, Dattoli Police launched a comprehensive investigation, including a detailed technical analysis. The police identified and arrested the suspects: Tanush Chandrakant Zade, Nikhil Raju Srivastava, Abhishek Lokendra Vishwakarma, Gaureesh Jitendra Bhute, Hardik Raju Thosar, Ashish Amresh Pandey, and Saurabh Dev Anand Sahare. The stolen Pulsar motorcycles and ₹6 lakh in cash were recovered, totaling ₹7 lakh in seized assets.
The arrested suspects are now in police custody until August 31, 2024. Authorities are still searching for additional suspects, Kailas Pusadkar and Durgesh Ingole. The investigation continues as police work to resolve all aspects of the case.
