DJ Ritik Ramteke, 22, was taken into custody by Pardi police on Thursday after he was accused of raping his 16-year-old neighbour for more than three years starting in 2021. The case was filed after the minor's family members became aware of the exploitation.

Ramteke is accused of forcing the girl to have intimate relationships in various locations, including her empty home. He had also taken her to several locations to force himself upon her.

The 16-year-old victim indicated in her allegation that she knew Ritik. He took her to his home and sexually attacked her, she said.

Following the victim's allegation, authorities charged Ritik with violating Sections 376, 376(2)(n), and 376(2)(j) of the Indian Penal Code and arrested him.
