The entire process for availing the scheme has been simplified to make it more accessible.

During a meeting held on Wednesday with representatives of senior citizen groups, Dr. Chaudhary highlighted the benefits of the scheme, which provides ₹3,000 in financial assistance to senior citizens aged 65 and above. The funds are meant to help purchase essential assistive devices to address disabilities and age-related weaknesses. Dr. Chaudhary also discussed the Mukhyamantri Tirth Darshan Yatra Yojana, another initiative for senior citizens, and informed the group that the registration process has been made smoother.
