Temperatures will remain above 40°C on Holi and stay high for the next two days. A slight drop of 1-2°C is expected from March 16 due to cloudy weather.
On Thursday, other cities in Vidarbha also recorded high temperatures:
- Chandrapur: 41.8°C
- Akola: 41.5°C
- Wardha: 41.0°C
- Amravati and Yavatmal: 40.2°C each
The IMD has warned that temperatures may rise by another 2°C in the coming days. Citizens are advised to stay hydrated and avoid direct sunlight during peak hours.
