Nagpur, India- An elderly couple, Sudhir Wankhede (66) and Sangeeta Wankhede (55), were robbed by a man disguised as a transgender person at their residence near the Jain Temple. The incident occurred around 11 a.m. on Wednesday.

The suspect approached the Wankhede residence and inquired about any nearby events. After asking for a glass of water, he was allowed into the house. While conversing with the couple, he managed to steal ₹11,500 in cash and two gold rings weighing 17 grams.

The Wankhedes have filed a complaint at Bajaj Nagar police station. Authorities are investigating the robbery.
