Nagpur: A family of four was found dead in their house on Wednesday morning in Mowad Village, Narkhed, Nagpur. Police are suspecting this case to be of suicide. The victims have been identified as Vijay Madhukar Pachori (68), a retired teacher, his wife Mala (55), and their two sons, Ganesh (38) and Deepak (36).
According to Rural Police, neighbours were concerned after experiencing an unusual silence at the Pachori household and informed the local bodies. When police arrived at the scene after forcing the door open, they found out dead bodies of four members, hanging from the celing hooks.
A suicide note, signed by all four members, was recovered from the scene. The note indicated that the family was under immense stress due to the arrest of Ganesh earlier this year in connection with a fraud case at Pandhurna police station in Madhya Pradesh. The ongoing legal issues appeared to have taken a toll on the family, leading to the tragic outcome, according to the police.
The Narkhed police have registered a case of accidental death and are continuing their investigation to uncover more details about the circumstances leading to this tragedy.
