Nagpur, India- A domestic dispute turned violent on Monday night in Chintamani Nagar when a father shot his son with a twelve-bore shotgun. The son, identified as Nitin Ingle, sustained severe injuries and was rushed to the hospital for treatment. The incident, which occurred between 11:30 and 11:45 PM, caused a brief period of panic and chaos in the neighbourhood.

The accused, Manikrao Ingle, a former serviceman and currently a security guard, allegedly shot his son following an argument over Nitin’s children. In a fit of rage, Manikrao used his shotgun to fire at Nitin, resulting in severe injuries.

Senior police officials promptly arrived at the scene after being informed of the incident. At the time of reporting, the case had not yet been registered at the Ajni police station.

Authorities are investigating the situation, and further details are expected to emerge as the case progresses. The community remains in shock as they await updates on Nitin’s condition and the legal proceedings against Manikrao.
