Father-Son Duo Held by Tehsil Police for Hindering Official Duties
Tehsil Police arrest Ankush and Pintu Bagdi for obstructing duties after Ankush's dog bit an officer during an arrest attempt.

Nagpur, India: The Tehsil Police have arrested Ankush alias Guddu Pintu Bagdi, 37, and his father Pintu Nandlalji Bagdi, 73, following an incident involving obstruction of official duties. On the night of August 27, 2024, police officers went to Ankush's residence in Itwari Sarafa Market to arrest him for allegedly harassing a woman.
During the arrest attempt, Ankush resisted and set his pet dog on the officers. The dog bit one of the officers, causing an injury. Both Ankush and his father then fled the scene.
The police have since registered a case under Sections 132, 291, 296, 351, and 355 of the Indian Penal Code. Both suspects are now in custody, and the investigation is ongoing.
