Nagpur, India: Three people have been accused of cheating a man out of Rs. 28 lakhs by promising him a government job. The accused are Prithviraj Sakhare (52), Milind Kamble (45), and Deepak Mopattivaar (64), all from different areas of Nagpur.

The fraud began in 2013 when Devdas Jambhulkar, a resident of Jaripatka, met Sakhare. Sakhare told Jambhulkar that he had a close connection with the wife of a Member of Parliament and could get his son a job in the Central Railway or the Social Welfare Department. Sakhare then introduced Jambhulkar to Kamble and Mopattivaar, who promised him the same.

Between 2018 and now, the three men took Rs. 28 lakhs from Jambhulkar in exchange for the job. They also gave him a fake job letter. When Jambhulkar realised he had been cheated and asked for his money back, the accused started avoiding him.

Jambhulkar then reported the fraud to the Jaripatka Police. The police have started an investigation and filed a case of fraud against the three men.
