Gold Ornaments and Foreign Cash Stolen in Ganeshpeth Burglary, Nagpur

Nagpur, India- unidentified perpetrators broke into a residence on Ghat Road in Ganeshpeth, Nagpur, stealing a cache of valuables totalling approximately Rs 8 lakh. The incident was reported by Sanjay alias Gopal Satyanarayan Joshi (62), residing at Joshi Bhavan.

The stolen items include American dollars, Dubai-Singapore currency, Rs 50,000 in cash, and a collection of gold and silver ornaments. Sanjay Joshi, who was away attending a wedding in Indora from July 15 to 16, discovered the theft upon his return.

According to police sources, the miscreants took advantage of Sanjay's absence to gain entry into the premises. The authorities have registered a case under Sections 331(4) and 305 of the BNS (Burglary and Housebreaking Act) based on Sanjay's complaint.

A thorough investigation is underway, with the police actively pursuing leads to apprehend the culprits involved in this audacious crime.
