Vidarbha, Gondia, India: The announcement of the upcoming Assembly elections, speculations are rife regarding the potential candidates. Gondia district, which comprises four assembly constituencies, is at the center of this discussion.

Gondia district includes four constituencies: Tiroda, Arjuni Morgaon, and Amgaon. While the candidates for Gondia and Tiroda have been announced, uncertainty still surrounds the contests in Amgaon and Arjuni Morgaon. BJP’s MLA Gopaldas Agrawal will face Congress candidate Vinod Agarwal, with independent candidates expected to play a significant role in the outcome of the election.

In the Tiroda constituency, BJP's sitting MLA Vijay Rahangdale is expected to face NCP (SP) candidate Ravikant Bopche. Similarly, in the Morgaon Arjuni constituency, Manohar Chandrikapure from the Ajit Pawar faction of the NCP remains in the race, though Congress has yet to announce its candidate. In the Amgaon Assembly Constituency, Congress candidate Sahasram Korote is expected to contest against a BJP candidate, though the BJP has not yet finalized a name.
