Nagpur, India- The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a heavy rainfall warning for Nagpur. The alert is in effect from 3 pm on July 21 to 8:30 am on July 22.

We experienced water havoc on Saturday, July 20th and today's evening is full of rain too. The six-hour rainfall from 5:30 am on Saturday flooded the various areas of Nagpur, within 3 hours IMD record 135mm of rainfall. This is the second-highest recorded rain in Nagpur. 

According to the IMD's prediction, heavy to extreme rainfall is expected to occur at isolated places within the Nagpur district of Vidarbha. Additionally, thunderstorms and lightning are likely to occur at several locations across the district.
