The esteemed Bharat Gaurav Award was presented to Dr. Sanjeev Chaudhary, a distinguished orthopedic surgeon from Nagpur, at the House of Lords in London, UK.At the British Parliament's regal premises, Dr. Chaudhary was bestowed with this award by Lord Lumba, Senior Lord and CBE (Excellence of Commander of the British Empire) recipient.

Dr. Chaudhary has received recognition for effectively spearheading osteoporosis awareness campaigns both domestically and internationally.Osteoporosis is a serious bone disease that typically affects women after menopause.

In spite of safe diagnostic tools and potent treatments, India has one of the highest rates of osteoporosis worldwide, primarily from a lack of knowledge.Dr. Sanjeev Chaudhary introduced a novel initiative called HEATCO, which uses video conferencing to provide online health education and teleconsultations on osteoporosis. For this reason, he created a digital van, which the International Osteoporosis Foundation of Switzerland named the finest innovation.

Upon equipping over 10,000 women with knowledge to combat the illness up to this point, he has shown noteworthy, quantifiable results. He is well known throughout the world for starting osteoporosis awareness campaigns in Nepal, Mauritius, and the Middle East as part of his global initiative to combat the condition.

He is a TEDx speaker as well. He gave the Indian government a white paper on osteoporosis that included insightful suggestions for national initiatives.
