Husband Arrested by Kalamna Police for Allegedly Murdering Wife

Nagpur, India: Kalamna Police have arrested 43-year-old Bablual Jeevan Verma for allegedly murdering his wife, Sabira Babulal Verma, following a heated dispute over their inability to have children. The tragic incident took place on August 27, 2024, at the couple's home in Ram Bhumi Society, Vijay Nagar, Nagpur.

 According to the police, Bablual allegedly struck Sabira on the head with a wooden stick, which led to her death. The arrest was made based on a complaint filed by Than Singh, also known as Rupesh Shankar Verma, aged 24.

The police have registered a case under Section 103(1) of the Indian Penal Code against Bablual, and further investigations are underway.
