Nagpur, India: IDBI Bank has donated a 44 seater air-conditioned bus to Indira Gandhi Medical College and Hospital (Mayo Hospital) to support their community health services. At a special event, Shrikant Tirpude from the bank handed over the keys to Dr. Ravi Chauhan, the dean of the hospital.

The donation is part of IDBI Bank's corporate social responsibility (CSR) efforts to celebrate its 60th anniversary. The bus will be used to set up health camps in both urban and rural areas of Nagpur, making healthcare more accessible to people in need.

During the event, Tirpude expressed his hope that the initiative would provide healthcare to those in need and improve medical services in the rural parts of the district.

Senior officials from IDBI Bank, including Akhilesh Kumar Mishra (GM-deputy zonal head), Anurag Singh (GM-senior regional head), Chetan Karnik (DGM-branch head, Sitabuldi), and Prathap Yandava (DGM, Nagpur zonal office), attended the event.

Dr. Mohan Khamgaokar, head of the community medicine department at Mayo Hospital, and Dr. Chauhan also addressed the gathering. The event was attended by senior officials from both IDBI Bank and the medical college, along with department heads.
