On April 8, 2023, the Mihan campus of the Indian Institute of Management will host the institution's 7th convocation. At the ceremony, 233 members of the class 2021–23 will receive their MBA degrees.

The ceremony's chief guest and guest of honour will be Ajai Chowdhry, the founder of HCL and chairman of the EPIC Foundation, and Ritesh Agarwal, CEO of Oyo Rooms. The event will be attended by members of the Board of Governors as well as CP Gurnani, MD and CEO of Tech-Mahindra and Chairman, Board of Governors, IIM Nagpur. At the presentation, deserving kids will receive awards for Outstanding Scholastic Achievement and Best All-Round Performance. On the pre-convocation night, sponsored awards such as "Best in Academics," "Best Sportsperson," and "Best All-Rounder" will be given out.

Recruiters from industries including consulting, BFSI, FMCG/FMCD, ITES, e-commerce, manufacturing, and logistics participated in this batch's 100% placement rate. Microsoft, Adani, HDFC Bank, KPMG, Deloitte, Infosys, and Accenture were a few well-known employers. The average CTC increased by 10.06% during the campus placement process, and the median increased by 9.27%, to INR 16.74 LPA and INR 16.85 LPA, respectively.

IIM Nagpur concentrates on comprehensive education and developing a mindful corporate culture in line with NEP 2020. For students in the MBA Program, IIM Nagpur has started a special course on life management skills.
