Nagpur, India- PARMINDER, an IRS officer from the 1988 batch, has been appointed as the new Principal Chief Commissioner of Income Tax (PCCIT) for the Nagpur region, effective Monday. With extensive experience in various key and sensitive positions within the Department, she brings a wealth of knowledge to her new role. Before this, she served as Mumbai's Chief Commissioner of Income Tax-5 in Mumbai. Her career includes notable assignments in Rajasthan, Gujarat, Delhi, and Mumbai.
Parminder has expressed her confidence in the taxpayers and their representatives in the Nagpur region. To facilitate tax-related matters, she has allocated a dedicated time slot from 3 pm to 4 pm on all working days for appointments with taxpayers and their representatives.
