Jaripatka Police Solve 6 House Burglaries Cases, Recover ₹8.7 Lakh Stolen Goods
Nagpur’s Jaripatka Police solve six burglary cases, arrest mastermind & recover ₹8.7 lakh worth of stolen valuables.

Nagpur’s Jaripatka Police have cracked six house burglary cases and recovered stolen valuables worth ₹8,70,100. The police arrested a habitual criminal and detained three minors involved in the thefts.
Amit Bhojwani (34), a resident of Dayanand Park Housing Board Society, Jaripatka, reported a house break-in on May 26, 2025. Thieves broke the main door lock and stole gold, silver, and cash worth ₹13,20,400 from a cupboard. The police registered a case under relevant IPC sections.
During the investigation, police examined 180 CCTV footage clips and analyzed call records. Based on the findings, they identified three minors involved in the theft. Upon questioning, the minors admitted to the crime and revealed five other burglaries they had committed:
Theft of ₹4,20,000 (Case No. 05/25)
Theft of ₹12,000 (Case No. 29/25)
Theft of ₹10,000 (Case No. 53/25)
Theft of ₹25,000 (Case No. 17/25)
Theft of ₹5,000 (Case No. 15/25)
The police recovered stolen goods worth ₹1,67,450 from the minors.
The investigation led to Ashish alias "Bodaya" Yadavrao Chaudhary (42), who lured the minors into committing the crimes and was preparing to sell the stolen items. Police arrested him and recovered stolen jewelry worth ₹7,03,100.
Out of the stolen ₹17,92,400 worth of valuables, the police successfully recovered ₹8,70,100.
The case was solved under the guidance of DCP Niketan Kadam, ACP Satyaveer Bandiwar, and Senior Inspector Arun Kshirsagar. The investigation team included PSI Ashish Gorakhde, along with multiple officers from Jaripatka Police and the Cyber Department.
This breakthrough has helped solve multiple burglary cases and bring the culprits to justice.
