Nagpur, India: The Jaripatka Police have launched an investigation into a burglary reported at a residence in Bezanbagh, Jaripatka, Nagpur. The incident, which occurred between August 26 and August 27, 2024, involved the theft of jewelry valued at approximately ₹3.25 lakh. Dr. Prachi Chetan Janbade, 36, the homeowner, was at Seven Star Hospital caring for her husband at the time of the crime.

According to the police report, an unknown suspect forced entry into the home by breaking a lock and then stole gold jewelry from a safe in the bedroom. Following Dr. Janbade's complaint, the police have registered a case under Sections 305A, 331(3), and 331(4) of the Indian Penal Code. Investigations are ongoing to identify and apprehend the culprit.
