Kalamna Police Solve Multiple Thefts, Recover Over Rs 11 Lakh in Valuables
Kalamna Police arrest 11, recovering stolen items worth Rs 11.10 lakh from multiple thefts and robberies, including gold and vehicles.

Nagpur, India- Kalmna Police have arrested 10 thieves and one robber in connection with three house break-ins, a vehicle theft, and a robbery. The police recovered stolen gold ornaments, two-wheelers, and other valuables worth over Rs 11.10 lakh. The arrested individuals are Ramzan alias Sahil Shaikh Abid (20), Mohammad Jakir Mohammad Shahid Ansari (23), Ashfaq Khan Yusuf Khan (42), Shaikh Jafar Shaikh Muzaffar (40), Aakash Vilas Lanjewar (22), Umesh Vasudeo Paunikar (19), Naresh Mahilange (27), Vicky Rajkumar Verma (21), Deepak Jagdishprasad Soni (24), and Mohammad Sohail Mohammad Afzal (24).
Ramzan Shaikh and Mohammad Jakir, along with Shubham Samudre, burgled gold and silver ornaments and cash worth Rs 61,000 from Roshan Shankar Itankar's house at Plot No 102, Mangalmurti Society, Bharatwada, between June 23 and 25. The police caught the duo and recovered gold ornaments worth Rs 59,000 from them.
Ashfaq Khan and Shaikh Jafar looted gold and silver ornaments worth over Rs 1.35 lakh from Renu Jamunaprasad Sondiya's residence at Plot No 34, Naka No 04, Laxmi Narayan Society, Wanjra Road, on April 19. The police arrested them and recovered gold ornaments worth Rs 1,18,500.
Aakash Lanjewar was arrested for stealing gold and silver ornaments from Isha Chandrashekhar Godbole's house at Plot No 09, Netaji Nagar, between June 6 and 14. The police recovered the stolen ornaments and seized a moped (MH-49/CC-9245) used in the crime.
Umesh Paunikar, Naresh Mahilange, Vicky Verma, and Deepak Soni were arrested for stealing a Maruti Baleno car (MH-49/BR-4121) worth Rs 7 lakh belonging to Ambuli Kishor Vairagade from Plot No 11, Surya Nagar, on June 2. The police recovered the car and the cash.
Mohammad Sohail was arrested for snatching a gold mangalsutra worth Rs 50,000 from Aamla Dhupan Yadav in front of her house at Plot No 08, Dwarka Nagar, on July 16. The police recovered the mangalsutra and seized a motorcycle (MH-40/CJ-3377) used in the robbery.
The arrests and recovery of stolen items were carried out by Senior PI Gokul Mahajan, PI Sati Aade, PSI Santosh Kumar Ramlod, ASI Deepak Dhanorkar, and others under the supervision of DCP (Zone V) Niketan Kadam and ACP (Kamptee Division) Vishal Kshirsagar.
