Kanchan Gadkari Takes Charge as President of Charitable Hospitals Association
Kanchan Gadkari was elected as president of the Association of Charitable Hospitals, Nagpur, urging govt & corporate support for hospitals.

Nagpur, India: Social worker Kanchan Gadkari has been elected as the president of the Association of Charitable Hospitals, Nagpur. The election was held on 3rd February at Matru Seva Sangh Hospital during the association’s annual meeting.
The meeting covered important topics like the annual report, financial accounts, and budget. Other key members elected include:
- Vice-President: Dr Sunita Mahatme
- General Secretary: Jagdish Gupta
- Treasurer: Adv PG Ghatole
- Joint Secretary: Madhuri Bhoskar
Representatives from Mure Memorial Hospital, Nimbunabai Tirpude Hospital, Janata Hospital, Rashtrasant Tukdoji Maharaj Cancer Hospital, Bhavani Hospital, and Matru Seva Sangh Sitabardi Hospital will also be part of the executive committee.
Kanchan Gadkari stressed the need for government and corporate support to improve charitable hospitals. She requested help in setting up modern medical facilities.
The association will meet every three months to track progress. During the meeting, Vilas Shende was also appointed as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
