Kapil Nagar Police Station: Burglary Case Filed Against Unknown Accused

Thieves stole valuables worth ₹2.16 lakh from a home in Kapilnagar while the owners were away.

Nagpur, August 7, 2024 – Umarasingh Suresh Singh Bais, a 64-year-old resident of Shivaji Ward No. 2, Mouda, Nagpur, and his family had gone to Kolkata, leaving their home locked from July 28, 2024, 5:00 PM, to August 6, 2024, 1:30 PM. During their absence, unknown thieves broke into their house at Roh House No. 29, Suman Vihar, Kamthi Road, Nagpur.

The burglars broke the lock on the main door and entered the house, stealing ₹1,00,000 in cash and jewellery worth approximately ₹1,16,000, totalling an estimated ₹2,16,000 in valuables.

Following the complaint, Police Inspector Bhovate (Contact: 8530023460) of Kapilnagar Police Station has filed a case against the unidentified suspects under Sections 305(a), 331(3), and 331(4) of the Indian Penal Code. The investigation is ongoing.
