Vidarbha, Karanja, India: On October 19, heavy rains affected several regions of Karanja (Ghadge) taluka, resulting in significant damage to crops.

The brief but intense rains, which lasted 45 to 50 minutes during the late hours, caused significant damage to orange and vegetable crops, fodder, and other agricultural materials. Additionally, several papaya trees were uprooted.

It's important to note that many papayas, oranges, and various fruits and vegetables were either ripe for harvest or had already been harvested and were ready for sale. Many farmers had prepared their produce for the market, but the unexpected late-night rains caught them off guard, resulting in substantial losses.
