Nagpur, India: Actor Kartik Aaryan has leased out his luxurious Juhu apartment in Mumbai for Rs 4.5 lakh per month. The apartment, worth Rs 17.4 crore, is located in the Siddhi Vinayak Presidency Co-operative Housing Society and spans 1,912 square feet. According to property registration documents obtained through the prop-tech platform Square Yards, the lease was registered on August 28, with a stamp duty of Rs 42,500.
Aaryan and his mother, Mala Tiwari, jointly bought the apartment on June 30, 2024, for Rs 17.5 crore. The purchase included a stamp duty payment of Rs 1.05 crore, a registration fee of Rs 30,000, and two parking spots. The rental yield for the property stands at 3.1%, indicating a steady return on investment from rental income. This isn't Kartik's only real estate venture—his parents also purchased another apartment in the same building for Rs 16.5 crore in July 2023.
Juhu is a popular area for celebrities and professionals, known for its scenic beachfront and luxury amenities. Last year, Kartik’s mother, Mala Tiwari, rented a 3,681-square-foot apartment from actor Shahid Kapoor for Rs 7.5 lakh per month, with a security deposit of Rs 45 lakh. The area has recently attracted other celebrities as well, such as lyricist Javed Akhtar, who purchased a house in the neighborhood.
