Bhandara: Police in Bhandara have arrested a lawyer accused of sexually assaulting an 11-year-old girl. The lawyer, Vijay Rehpade, is 48 years old.

The girl is friends with the lawyer's daughter and lives nearby. Police say she went to Rehpade's houinside se looking for his daughter. Rehpade reportedly told her his daughter was and took her to a bedroom where he hurt her.

The girl went home and told her mother what happened. Her mother then went to the police station to report the incident.

Rehpade has been arrested and is facing charges under several laws, including those that protect children. He will be held in custody for 14 days while the police investigate the case. SDPO Kulkarni is in charge of the investigation.
