Nagpur, India: Residents of Koradi Colony are out of danger now, as a leopard has been captured after the days of terror, sighted repeatedly over the past few days, and was successfully held late Thursday night. The big cat, first spotted near C-Type Building 3 of Koradi Colony around 8:30 pm on December 5, had created a sense of fear among the locals.

A joint Forest Department and local security personnel team launched an operation to secure the area and trap the animal. Under the guidance of Koradi Thermal Power Station’s Chief Engineer Vilas Motghare and Deputy Chief Engineer Kasulwar, the team set up a cage in the area frequented by the leopard.

By 11 pm, their efforts yielded results, and the leopard was safely caged, bringing much-needed relief to the community. This swift and coordinated action ensured the safety of the residents, restoring calm in Koradi Colony and its surrounding localities.
