Lightning Kills two in Gadchiroli district Kunghad and Talodhi
Two people died and two others were injured by a lightning strike in Kunghada and Talodhi (Mokasa) areas on Thursday.

Nagpur, India- Two people were killed and two others injured by a lightning strike in the Kunghada and Talodhi (Mokasa) areas of the district on Thursday. Gurudas Maniram Gedam, 42, from Govardhan (Kunghada), died on the spot, while Vaibhav Chaudhary, 21, from Shankarpur Heti, died in the hospital during treatment. Both were fishing and were on their way home after repairing their boat in a nearby river.
Gadchiroli district experienced pre-monsoon rains with severe winds, heavy rainfall, and lightning. Neelkanth Tarkadu Bhoyer, 45, from Maroda, was also injured by the lightning. He has been admitted to the rural hospital in Chamorshi, and his condition is reported to be stable.
The sudden storm in the Kunghada and Talodhi (Mokasa) areas caused significant damage to houses. Tin roofs over the rice mill and many homes were blown off. Normal life was disrupted as water entered some houses, causing temporary chaos.
