NAGPUR: On Wednesday, Kalamna police registered a man for allegedly molesting a 7-year-old young girl. The girl was playing outside her house on Wednesday after midday since the accused had lured her in by giving her some food. The accused has been identified as Mohit Ramesh Yadav (37), a resident of Kalamna.

He then took her to his house and reportedly molested her. When the girl became scared, she fled in the direction of her home. Her mother questioned what had happened to her as she cried. She then detailed the situation. Afterwards, after the mother filed a report, Mohit was taken into custody by Kalamna police after they had filed an official case.

Further inquiry is underway.
