Man Dies After Police Leave Him During Chest Pain in Arni
A man in Arni tehsil died after being left by police while suffering a medical emergency. Despite reaching a hospital, he passed away on the way to another facility.

Vidarbha, Yavatmal, Arni: The police went to a town in Arni tehsil to take action against people selling illegal liquor. They were taking a 35-year-old man to the police station for questioning when he started experiencing chest pain. The man later died after being abandoned by the police.
While the police were taking the man for questioning, he started having chest pain. During this time, the police abandoned him and left from there. Later, with the help of a friend, the man reached a hospital, but the doctor advised him to go to Yavatmal Government Hospital. However, the man died on the way.
The deceased has been identified as Mangilal Ratan Jadhav, a resident of Antargaon Arni. Following the incident, tensions increased in Arni City. The villagers are calling for legal action to be taken against the police officers involved.
