Man Ends Life Over Wife’s Affair; Wife, Lover Booked for Abetment
A 41-year-old man in Nagpur died by suicide after allegedly facing harassment from his wife and her lover. Police have booked both accused for abetting the suicide and arrested one of them.

Nagpur, India: A man ended his life after learning about his wife's alleged affair. Police have now booked the wife and her boyfriend for abetting his suicide.
The incident took place in Mankapur, where 41-year-old Narendra Shyamrao Thakre, a resident of Khan Society, Godhani Railway, was found hanging at his home on February 17. Initially, police registered the case as an accidental death based on a complaint from his brother, Anil.
During the investigation, police found that Narendra had been facing mental and physical harassment from his wife, Durgeshwari Narendra Thakre, and her alleged partner, Rahul Manohar (45). The two had reportedly been in a relationship for a year. When Narendra confronted his wife, she informed Rahul, and both allegedly assaulted him just days before his death.
A suicide note left by Narendra confirmed the harassment, leading police to file a case against the accused. One of them has been arrested, and further investigations are ongoing.
