Mankapur Police Seize MD Drug Worth ₹2.95 Lakh and 5 Vehicles

Nagpur, India: On August 16, 2024, between 9:10 AM and 10:45 AM, Manakapur police arrested three people for possessing MD powder. The suspects were:
- Ganga alias Prajwal Prashant Kakade, 25, from Sharda Colony, Hudkeshwar
- Karan Manohar Madavi, 26, from Mohan Nagar
- Shubham Naresh Jambhulkar, 23, from Sundarbaug
Police recovered, 2 grams and 23 milligrams of MD powder from Ganga, worth about ₹10,000 and 60 milligrams of MD powder and a mobile phone from Karan
Overall, police seized MD powder and five vehicles totalling ₹2,95,000. The suspects confessed to involvement in multiple thefts across different police areas. They were charged under the NDPS Act, and the investigation is ongoing.
The operation was led by the Deputy Commissioner of Police (Zone 2) and Assistant Commissioner of Police (Division Y), with officers including Manish Thakur and Nilesh Bhogare.
