Union Minister Nitin Gadkari remarked that significant IT firms like HCL, TCS, Infosys, and Tech Mahindra had produced a number of employment chances in MIHAN and pledged that the special economic region will generate roughly 1 Lakh jobs for young people in the cities. At the recent "Rising Nagpur" programme hosted at the Hotel Centre Point in Ramdaspeth, Gadkari referred to MIHAN as the new force driving Vidarbha's development as more businesses opened up shop there.

With the quick start of operations by major IT businesses, the MIHAN project has accelerated significantly. Over 68,000 young professionals have already benefited from the effort as a result of the influx of these enterprises, which has created work prospects for many people. By the end of 2024, Gadkari set an ambitious goal of achieving one lakh employment placements.

Importantly, Gadkari reassured the gathering that the region's educated youth would no longer need to pursue employment prospects outside of Vidarbha. He voiced his belief that Nagpur, with its developing industrial landscape, will provide attractive career chances, removing the need for people to move in quest of jobs.

Gadkari also provided information on a number of infrastructure initiatives that will turn Nagpur into a contemporary metropolis. These include establishing a 24-hour water supply, improving gardens, building an Agro Convention Centre, creating an internationally renowned Multimodal Hub in Ajni, building a stadium that meets the needs of the disabled, and expanding the metro system. In addition to boosting Nagpur's global prominence, the creation of a Special Economic Zone (SEZ) within MIHAN will make direct imports and exports easier.

Gadkari also disclosed plans for building an eight-lane road that would link MIHAN to other important areas. Notably, the extension of the metro will be supported by a double-decker bridge over Khapri, with the upper level reserved for metro rail and the lower level accommodating traffic flow, including a road beneath it. This infrastructural improvement should greatly improve connectivity to Butibori and cut down on travel time.

Nagpur's development into a significant economic and industrial powerhouse in Vidarbha seems increasingly probable as MIHAN continues to thrive and draw investments. The area is primed for accelerated expansion and development, which will ultimately improve the quality of life for its citizens, with concentrated efforts by the government and active participation from enterprises.
